Krzysztof Stępiński
Advocate, Attorney-at-law
A graduate of the Faculty of Law at the University of Warsaw. From 1974 to 1983, he served as a judge at the District Court for Warsaw Praga, presiding over criminal cases. In December 1981, he faced disciplinary proceedings. He became an attorney-at-law in 1983 and an advocate in 1985. He was a member and deputy member of the Regional Bar Association in Warsaw from 1992 to 2007. He served as the Disciplinary Spokesperson of the Regional Bar Association in Warsaw from 2004 to 2007. He was also the Disciplinary Spokesperson of the Bar Association in Warsaw from 2016 to 2020. He has been a delegate to all National Bar Congresses since 1989. He has mentored several legal trainees and lectured on criminal law in the lawyer training program.
Together with advocate Jacek Kondracki, and later with advocate Jacek Dubois, he authored numerous columns related to the legal profession and the application of law. He comes from a long line of Warsaw natives.
He enjoys skiing, playing bridge, going to the theater, and listening to jazz.
