Amadeusz Borkowski

Advocate, mediator
Amadeusz Borkowski has been with Dubois i Wspólnicy since 2019. He specialises in the litigation aspects of civil and commercial law and, in parallel, handles cases and advises on employment law, including civil-law forms of cooperation. In his practice, he combines these two areas, focusing on issues that arise at the intersection of contract disputes, liability or settlements, and the realities of employment and workplace organisation.
He represents Clients in court proceedings and supports them in pre-litigation matters, from strategy and negotiations to the development of secure and practical settlement solutions. Outside the courtroom, he drafts contracts, internal policies, settlement agreements and legal opinions.
As part of his civil law practice, he advises Clients on pursuing complex claims, including claims against the State Treasury, also in group proceedings. He also handles disputes arising from improper performance of contracts, including those related to real estate. In the field of employment law, he advises both employees, including in matters concerning appeals to the Labour Court against termination of employment, as well as claims relating to mobbing and discrimination, and employers, including in matters concerning dismissal consultations, internal workplace regulations, anti-discrimination, EU regulations and disputes with trade unions. Throughout his practice, he has repeatedly served on anti-mobbing committees, advised trade union organisations and consulted on internal workplace regulations.
Meticulous and detail-oriented by nature, he is always committed to safeguarding business interests while respecting individual rights. He approaches even the most unconventional ideas and strategies with openness. He understands the relationship between the individual and the business and consistently seeks a fair balance between the two, also in his role as a mediator. With many successful outcomes, he helps parties focus on the future, while ensuring that fair settlements remain firmly within the scope of his professionalism and reliability.
